Nature has always held an allure for me. From the time I was a small child, I drew or painted things that gave me comfort and joy. Today it is mostly with acrylics or mixed media, either on canvas or paper. Where I have traveled or lived, the beauty of nature continues to captivate—from the rolling California vineyards, the shady lanes and country roads, to the majestic California coast or the stunning sunsets of Hawaii or wherever they occur. My work is rooted in place, inspired by light, and created to invite a sense of calm and connection.
